Avocado Spinach Fruit Smoothie

Avocado Spinach Fruit Smoothie!  It’s that time of year when we look to shed some pounds, and there’s nothing more refreshing than a sweet-tasting avocado spinach fruit smoothie It is easily made with pineapple, banana, baby spinach, Swiss chard, coconut milk, and avocado.  Great tasting and enjoyable to drink, this smoothie is not only satisfying, but it’s also a great way to start the day!

After a holiday, it’s time to eat light for a day or two, and smoothies and juicing help me to do that.  And smoothies like this Avocado Spinach Fruit Smoothie are refreshing, packed with nutrients, and beneficial to help me get my day started.

Our family loves avocados and we incorporate them somehow into our meals, almost every day.  So adding them to smoothies like this one was a no-brainer.

For this smoothie, avocado provides not only nutrients but also gives a rich and creamy texture to the smoothie, similar to a thick milkshake.  It also provides healthy fat, leaving you feeling full and satisfied for most of the day.  A triple-win… just sayin’.

Lately,  I like adding more super greens into my smoothies.  And, since I didn’t have any kale on hand, I decided to add in some Swiss chard instead (just to try it out).

Swiss chard is considered to be a “sister” to the super-food family, so I thought why not?

Surprisingly, the taste and flavor were so good, it was refreshing and sweet, leaving me feeling healthy all day.

Making smoothies are so quick to whip up.  We like to pack them with super greens to provide more nutrients and essential vitamins, and some healthy fats and fiber to help create the perfect morning boost.

We love this smoothie recipe, simply because it really tastes great.  Try this one!

Here’s a Quick Tip:

We like to keep chunks of pineapple and bananas in the freezer, including already pre-washed healthy greens to help create our ice-cold smoothies.  No need to add additional ice, making them quick, easy and practically effortless!  ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a morning boost with our Avocado Spinach Fruit Smoothie and feel great!

ENJOY!!

  1. I love smoothies, especially to kick off a new year or after indulging in heavy foods. Avocados are such a favorite of mine and you’ve given me another ingredient to add to my smoothie line-up. Thanks so much for your kindness in sharing my detox smoothie too. Buon Anna my friends!

    1. Hello Beth! I tried doing that once, and for me I didn’t like how it changed its color and texture of the smoothie. So I am not a fan of doing that anymore. But hey-that’s me! It doesn’t hurt to try it yourself, and see what happens. Please let me know how it does turn out for you!
