How to Make Goat Cheese Pistachio and Walnut Ball?

For this simple recipe, you will need 2 kinds of soft cheeses, one fresh herb, some pistachios, and walnuts.

Step 1: Grab 2 sheets of wax paper, one to work on (for easy clean up) and the other to wrap the ball in.

Step 2: Then to make the cheese ball, I used plain goat cheese and mixed it with a small amount of cream cheese, and simply added in some freshly chopped thyme.

Step 3: With a large wooden spoon, work it to form a ball, and then try doing it with your hands.

Step 4: Next, roll the cheese ball into the crushed mixture of nuts and wrap it in wax paper or clear wrap, and chilled it for at least 1 to 2 hours.

Variations and Tips…

You can also roll the cheese ball into:

  • a freshly chopped mixture of herbs, like parsley, basil, and thyme.
  • or a mixture of dried herbs, like Herbs de Provence.
  • to kick things up a notch, consider serving with some honey, truffle honey, or a tart raspberry jam nearby.ย

Either way, Goat Cheese Pistachio and Walnut Ball will make a delicious cheese ball to serve as an appetizer at any holiday gathering.

Enjoy!
