No-Bake Fresh Berry Yogurt Pie and Angel Food Cake ~ 2 Easy Desserts!

No-Bake Fresh Berry Yogurt Pie and Angel Food Cake! by

No-Bake Fresh Berry Yogurt Pie and Angel Food Cake ~ two super easy dessert ideas you can whip up in less than 10 minutes. What better way to say  “I love you” on Mother’s Day than with a sweet dessert for mom! Here are two delicious dessert ideas topped with fresh fruit and a little sprinkle of sweet powdered sugar!

First, is the No-Bake Fresh Berry Yogurt Pie.  This pie has a delicious creamy white filling made with two ingredients, Greek yogurt and honey and is loaded with a mix of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, all layered in one ready-made graham cracker crust.  Easy-peasy!!  This is the perfect dessert to add to any brunch buffet to enjoy eating for breakfast or to even fulfill that afternoon sweet tooth!

Sweet, creamy and delicious! No one will ever notice the creamy, moist filling is made with Greek yogurt. You can go crazy with this Greek yogurt pie with your choice of any seasonal fruit and decorate it to your liking.  Click for recipe:  5 Minute Mixed Berry Yogurt Pie.

Second dessert is the No-Bake Angel Food Cake filled with a layer of fresh whipped cream in the middle and topped with more whipped cream and fresh sliced bananas, strawberries, blueberries and lightly sprinkled with powered sugar. It’s super easy to whip this one together as well. Angel Food Cakes are sold in the bakery section in most supermarkets that are already pre-baked.

I simply sliced the cake in half, added a layer of fresh whipped cream onto the cake and topped it with the other half and covered with more whipped cream. Then decorated with fresh fruit on top, starting with sliced strawberries, then blueberries and then with sliced bananas. Then added a mix of more fresh berries around the cake.

Simple, easy to do and makes a delicious and pretty presentation that says “I LOVE YOU” all over it!

Are you planning something special for Mother’s Day tomorrow? Maybe try to beat the rush and make her brunch or dinner at home! These are just simple ideas for a quick and easy dessert to put together at the last minute. Whatever your plans may be, we want to wish you a wonderful weekend and a Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mamma’s out there!!

How beautiful and how easy! Both my mom and MIL have passed away and my daughter is having us for dinner so I'm set but will save this for when I do need an impressive but easy dessert! Happy Mothers' Day Anna and Liz 🙂

Thank you Sue! We went up to NY this weekend to spend Mother's Day with our mom, sister Liz, our kids and grandchildren. Our brothers will be spending it with their families. The weather is rainy all weekend, but we don't mind this time around. Have a great weekend! xoxo
