OVEN Steak Fries – Restaurant Style

These Oven Steak Fries-Restaurant Style are potato wedges, topped with a blend of herbs and olive oil, then baked until they are crispy golden brown.  They are usually served with a steak, but my family loves eating them alone with some of their favorite dipping sauces.  A great idea to serve as a side, or as fun finger-food on game-nights!

Oven Steak Fries…

Serve these steak fries with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, and ketchup and you’ll have your family and friends coming back for more!

Plus, these potatoes would go perfectly served as a side dish with our London Broil Steak Grilled, and our Perfect Filet Mignon Roast.

But honestly, they are great alone too.

Before you make them…Some Notes and Tips:

  • How many potatoes will I need? You can guess how many potatoes you will need for a game night, or for dinner. It’s best to estimate one large potato per person or 2 medium-sized potatoes per person.

  • Make extra! If you’re not totally sure, add an extra potato or two.  It’s best to be safe and have a little extra, rather than run short.

  • Leftovers? Don’t worry, if you have any leftovers.  You can add them to your morning scrambled eggs to make a delicious potato omelet for breakfast.  YUM!

  • What condiment to serve? You can serve them with a variety of condiments, for dipping!ย  Try mayonnaise, ketchup, or sour cream. They are even more delicious dipped in heatedย marinara sauce.ย

  • Make them Fun! Also, for a fun serving size, toss them into mugs lined with parchment paper.  The presentation is more appealing and fun for gatherings and game nights!
