Just follow the directions for cooking the Quinoa, then add some of Mom’s marinara sauce, some frozen peas, Parmesan cheese and Vuola! It’s that easy! Serve as a side dish or as the first course. Quinoa with Peas and Marinara Sauce
- 1 cup Quinoa – Organic 100% whole grain
- 4 cups Water (for the quinoa)
- 1/2 cup of Frozen Peas – rinsed
- 2 cups Mom’s Marinara Sauce
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
Cook Quinoa with water in a 4 quart sauce pot.
Simmer until the Quinoa is fully cooked, about 15 minutes.
Add the marinara sauce and frozen peas. Mix well and heat until sauce is heated through.
Add Parmesan cheese, mix again. Serve immediately.
