Look at you getting your dad back to good health!! That is really pretty awesome.

And so are these cookies. The chocolate chips and apple combo would have me eating one after every meal!

HI Nancy- Thank you! I don't eat a lot of sugar and so they were perfect and enough sweetness for me and for my Dad. BTW The first batch was a flop – because they were too bland. I realized it needed something more, chocolate! – then I was able to post it. 🙂

first of all, congratulations for helping lower your dad's sugar level! these are great looking cookies—love that you omitted the sugar. the apples, honey, and bittersweet chocolate should add enough sweetness.

Oatmeal cookies are one of my favorite cookies. I don't make them too often because they kids are not big fans which is a bummer, but I need to make these. I love the addition of bittersweet chips and the exclusion of raisins. I prefer chocolate in my cookie 🙂 I love that you take care of your dad and he lets you. It's really sweet 🙂 xoxo, Jackie
