It's been so rainy, that we are just now picking our tomatoes! Like you, I have to buy a lot more prosciutto too! Would you believe that prosciutto in Italy costs about what we pay for simple packaged sliced bologny here in the States. Plus, the Italians only export the 2nd or 3rd quality prosciutto to other countries, keeping the highest quality (at bologny prices) in Italy. It's crazy!!!
