Hi Debbie,
I know our mom and aunt did use the frozen ravioli once, but they threw them in the oven and baked them. I don’t know if that was easier, or because they were frozen. But I would think it would work, simply because most “Bars and Breweries” take our “frozen mozzarella sticks” already breaded and throw them into the hot oil to fry.
So, if I had to guess (and it is only a guess) I would allow them to thaw a little, dip them into the egg mixture, then bread crumbs and fry. Try a small batch first, before you continue with all of them. Please, come back and let us know if they worked. Thanks so much! 🙂
