Quinoa with Peas and Marinara Sauce
Quinoa with peas and marinara sauce is an easy protein dish you can whip up in under 20 minutes. Ok, we are obsessed with quinoa and decided to whip up something not only light for dinner but one we could use with our favorite tomato sauce.
We used our Mom’s Quick Marinara Sauce, which is a fresh tasting sauce, and one you can make quickly. Then cooked one cup of quinoa in water Turns this quinoa dish into a delicious, healthy and gluten-free, everyone will love!

No need to pre-soak or rinse this quinoa which means the prep time is practically nothing!
Marinara sauce is great to have on hand. It allows you to whip up so many dishes. Just follow the directions for cooking the Quinoa, then add some of Mom’s marinara sauce, some frozen peas, Parmesan cheese and Vuola! It’s that easy!

Quinoa with Peas and Marinara Sauce
- 1 cup Quinoa – Organic 100% whole grain
- 4 cups Water (for the quinoa)
- 1/2 cup of Frozen Peas – rinsed
- 2 cups Mom’s Marinara Sauce
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
Cook Quinoa with water in a 4 quart sauce pot.
Simmer until the Quinoa is fully cooked, about 15 minutes.
Add the marinara sauce and frozen peas. Mix well and heat until sauce is heated through.
Add Parmesan cheese, mix again. Serve immediately.
