Perfect Sunny-side Up Eggs

Phantom Chef Cookware and Giveaway by

Perfect Sunny-side up eggs takes minutes to make and helps get breakfast ready quick and easy!

Prep Time 1 minute
Cook Time 3 minutes
Total Time 4 minutes


  • 1 tsp. olive oil (not needed if you use the phantom chef fry pan)
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper, to
  • toast for serving


  1. If you use the phantom chef fry pan, then no oil is needed.
  2. Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet, about 1 to 2 minutes. OR, Heat phantom chef fry pan on medium heat for about 1 minute.
  3. Crack each egg, one at a time and slowly add each one to the skillet.
  4. Cook the eggs until the whites are completely set but the yolks are still loose and runny, about 2 to 2 +1/2 minutes.
  5. Slide the eggs out of the skillet onto a plate or on top of toast.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

    Thank you for sharing this wonderful website about family and tradition and of course wonderful food. Fall always is a time for stews, stuffed peppers, and many wonderful soups.. Your cooking brings me back to growing up with an Italian mother who loved to bake .

    For fall I absolutely love the vegetable lasagna… it’s my go-to for having my kids eat veggies without the “look of disgust” on their faces that I made veggies as a main dish. They gobble it right up! And the butternut squash fall soup to warm up the bones and the heart! 😉

    I can’t believe I almost missed this! What a great looking pan but I have to say I love the photo of you (or your sis?) in that gorgeous kitchen! As far as favorite fall recipes. ..pumpkin bread and chili. Not together, mind you – LOL.

    Great skillet and I could use a new one. My favorite fall recipes are anything that can be baked. And that includes wonderful baked pumpkin Dutch babies in a brand new skillet!

    I love Autumn because I can make beef stew. It’s perfect for the cooler weather. I also make chili every Halloween and I hand out cups of it to freezing parents trick or treating with their kids.

    Love minestrone at this time of year. Just made a big pot this week with butternut squash and all the vegetables and beans.
    Also was in the mood for pumpkin bread which I made last Friday. Ate the last piece today.
