Pan Seared Salmon…
Salmon is easily pan-seared on the stovetop for a few minutes, then it’s topped with an easy homemade teriyaki ginger sauce made with fresh ginger, garlic, olive oil, and soy sauce.
The teriyaki ginger sauce is what makes this salmon so flavorful andย mouthwatering. ย I think even the kids will eat it.
For years I never ate salmon. ย Always thought the taste was too fishy for me.
But that has changed since I had salmon with this teriyaki ginger sauce at a friend’s BBQ years ago. ย And I think this salmon recipe will dissuade others too!
Salmon Cooks in Minutes…
Whether you grill or pan sear the salmon on stove-top, ย salmon steaks are known to cook up very quickly. ย So you’ll have to stay nearby and keep an eye on it.
With that in mind, it’s a good idea to get started with cooking the rice as a side dish.
So by the timeย the rice is ready to serve, your salmon with teriyaki ginger sauce will be too and ready by its side.
You can easily prepare a green salad as another side and dinner is a snap! ย Perfect for those busy weeknights.
Anyone who loves the flavors of fresh ginger and garlic will love them in this sauce.
I even mixed some of the teriyaki ginger sauce into the rice, making the rice a little more flavorful. ย Dinner was easy and delicious!
After grilling meats all summer long, weย prefer getting back to eatingย fish andย salads. ย Eating light is what we try to aim for the rest of the week. ย How about you?

Goodness these are some beautiful fillets! We love salmon with Teriyaki but I've never pan fried the fish before. We marinate then broil or grill – but I think I like this method too! The photos are outstanding.
Thanks Tricia! First time I made salmon teriyaki this way and I have to say, everyone love them so much, I I think I will continue to make this recipe often.
