We recommend the main ingredients should be chilled before making your Aperol spritz cocktails:

1. Prosecco ~ choose any prosecco of your choice. Be sure to chill the bottle before making your Aperol spritz.

2. Aperol Liqueur ~ you can find the Aperol liqueur in any local liquor store in your neighborhood, or purchase it on Amazon.

3. Club Soda or Seltzer ~ any no flavor of club soda or seltzer is perfect for this Italian aperitif.

4. Lemon Juice ~ a splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice is added to the mixture of the Aperol spritz for additional freshness and a clean taste.

5. Lemon and Navel Orange ~ one slice of each are dropped into the glass. In addition, a slice is added to garnish the glass.

Ingredients

  • ice cubes
  • 3 ounces chilled prosecco
  • 2 ounces chilled Aperol
  • 1 ounce club soda or seltzer
  • a splash (about 1 ounce) of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • slices of lemon and navel orange, as garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Fill your glass with ice cubes.
  3. Measure the ounces needed for each ingredient needed: prosecco, club soda, Aperol liqueur, and lemon juice.
  4. Give it a stir and add a slice of lemon and orange inside the cocktail.
  5. Then garnish with a slice of each, placing them on the rim of the glass.
  6. Pop a pretty straw inside the glass and serve.
