For our light-bodied and refreshing recipe, you will need lots of ice cubes, a bottle of chilled limoncello and prosecco, fresh lemons, and sparkling water. Plus, some fresh mint, as garnish. And, the rest is easy!

A bowl of lemons, a bottle of Limoncello, and Prosecco, can of sparkling soda, and sliced lemons on a white plate.

Ingredients Overview:

  1. Limoncello: is an Italian lemon liqueur produced in southern Italy, and it is usually kept in the freezer.
  2. Prosecco: is an Italian sparkling wine that is refreshing, and comes from the village of Prosecco, Italy. And it must be chilled before making this lemon spritz.
  3. Sparkling Soda or Water: any bottle of sparkling water or soda can be used to make this lemon spritz. We used a lemon-flavored sparkling soda, already chilled.
  4. Lemons: fresh lemons are needed for fresh lemon juice, plus a few slices to garnish the glass.
  5. Mint: a sprig of fresh mint is lovely when added to each glass, as a garnish.
  6. Ice Cubes: always fill each glass with some ice cubes before adding the rest of the ingredients. This way your refreshing cocktail is already chilled to a perfect temperature.
