The Green Drink Spinach Smoothie…
Like most smoothies, this one takes about 5 minutes to add all the ingredients to a blender and puree! It’s fast and easy and healthy!
I used coconut milk for the first time and really loved the taste.
This green drink-spinach smoothie leaves you feeling clean, healthy, and satisfied for hours. And, if you make them weekly, you’ll start to see a glow in your skin (as I experienced).
You’ll love this Spinach Smoothie as much as we do.
I made this smoothie for myself using only 3 chunks of pineapple, one banana (preferably frozen), and one apple and it was so delicious I had to get everyone to try it.
Healthy smoothies are perfect to make as part of your family’s breakfast. Or, enjoy one as a snack in the afternoon.
It has enough sweetness to satisfy those afternoon cravings.
It’s even ideal to have after a workout at the gym. This smoothie is also an excellent for vegans. It’s kid-friendly too!

Why use Spinach in a Smoothie?
Like other dark green vegetables, the benefits of eating raw spinach are huge!
Spinach is an excellent source of iron, vitamin C, and beta-carotene, which are powerful disease-fighting antioxidants, and includes helping fight heart disease and cancer.
Totally a win-win for everyone!
When everyone took one sip of my green drink (including my sister Liz), they loved it so much I had to make a second batch, and doubled the ingredients to make enough for everyone.
I think it’s a better way to give your family and kids a healthy smoothie to drink that is loaded with nutrients and vitamins before they start their day.
Don’t you?
Plus, if you have fussy kids that think drinking “ICKY” green stuff is a “never happening kind of thing…?”
Then try pouring this Green Drink Spinach Smoothie into a non-transparent cup – it always seems to do the trick.
Also, the little ones will love this smoothie as well, just pour into their favorite ‘sippy’ cup and call it juice!
Here’s a Few Great Tips:
- The easiest and fastest way to create a thick, icy-cold smoothie (without adding ice cubes) is by keeping some of your chunks of fruit in your freezer.
- Cut them up into small pieces and freeze them in either ziplock bags or plastic containers.
- Also, keep apples in the refrigerator, to keep those cold as well.
- It’s best to use organic baby spinach. It will cost more but it is worth it.
ENJOY and have a great day! ๐

Thanks Nicole!! SO Glad you love this one! and thank you for the lovely comment.
Last year I restarted my regular exercise regime after realizing what a few years of unbalance had done to my once fit body. I also started getting more greens in my diet with great effects.
Hey that's wonderful and great news! So glad to hear positive effects when adding more greens into the diet. We too are adding more daily, hopefully we'll see positive changes too! Thanks for your comment!

Hi Jackie, you know I didn't know a lot about coconut milk until recently, and it has the richness like milk but without all the sugar and calories. Girl, I am loving it! Enjoy!! xxoo
Hey girls! Your smoothie is such a pretty shade of green. I'm totally making this smoothie tomorrow for my post workout snack, as my favorite spinach smoothie reguires green grapes, and I can't get organic grapes right now. I love the addition of coconut milk! I'm sure it has a nice richness to it. ๐ xoxo, Jackie
