How to Make Easy Shrimp Spaghetti?
Our full printable recipe card is located at the bottom, along with our video! But let’s run through our easy-to-follow steps, so you’ll understand what’s involved before you start.
- FIRST STEP: Prepare the shrimp: rinse the shrimp under running water for a minute or more, then allow the shrimp to drain well in a colander.
- SECOND STEP: Prep the veggies for the sauce. Dice the garlic, slice the cherry or grape tomatoes in halves, and finely chop some parsley.
- THIRD STEP: Make the sauce. In a skillet, you will need to sautรฉ the garlic in olive oil for a minute or more to flavor the oil. Then add the tomatoes, red pepper flakes, fresh parsley, and sea salt, and simmer for a few minutes, until the tomatoes soften.

4. STEP FOUR: Add the shrimp. Toss in the shrimp and sautรฉ until the shrimp is fully cooked. Use a fork, or kitchen tong to flip each one over to the other side, until they are cooked through. When shrimp is fully cooked, turn off the heat, and stir an additional 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil into the shrimp sauce. Taste the sauce, and adjust for salt.

5. FINAL STEP: Boil the spaghetti: Bring a large pot filled with water to a boil. Toss the spaghetti and 2 teaspoons of salt into the water. Cook the spaghetti until al-dente, and with the kitchen tong, gently (and carefully) pull the spaghetti out of the pot with water, and transfer it to the skillet with shrimp. Then toss with the sauce until blended, then serve.
Helpful Tip! If you need to add some of the pasta water to the shrimp sauce, you can. Use a ladle to grab some and pour it into the skillet. This will help to loosen the spaghetti while you stir it with the shrimp.
