Lately, our go-to dressing for salads is Honey Mustard Dressing, and this time we decided to make it from scratch. What could be better than using all-natural ingredients that we already have in our pantry? This homemade honey mustard dressing is both delicious and easy to prepare. You won’t be disappointed!

Yellow Mustard yellow mustard offers a crisp, tart-and-tangy flavor to this salad dressing. 

Lemon Juice – for the most delicious dressing, it’s best to use fresh lemon juice.

Honey – to balance the flavors, honey is a great natural sweetener.

Mayonnaise – choose a good quality mayonnaise for the best flavor.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil – it is best to use good quality extra virgin olive oil for this salad dressing.

Vinegar – this salad dressing gets a tangy flavor from white balsamic vinegar.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. good quality mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. classic yellow mustard
  • 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 + 1/2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic pepper

Instructions

  1. Use a mug or a small mason jar, or a bowl, and combine all the ingredients until the dressing is smooth and creamy,
  2. Taste the dressing, and adjust the salt, if needed.
  3. Transfer the dressing into a small mason jar with a lid. Chill in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it.
  4. Simply spoon the amount of dressing you desire over your salad, and any remaining dressing can be conveniently stored in a mason jar. Remember to keep it chilled in the refrigerator for future use.
